Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions? We have answers.
Do we need to bring food/bedding/toys for boarding pets?
Up to you! We provide everything you need for you pet, but if you want to bring food, blanket, pillow, bed, or toy for them, feel free to do so! It is no additional charge either way.
Do you have walk in services?
Yes! Our walk in services include nail trims, anal gland expression, and more. We can usually get these in any time before 1:00 p.m., but it’s always good to call before heading this way. We do not do walk in Baths or Grooms. Please give us a call to schedule an appointment.
What kind of food do you feed?
We serve dry “Diamond” food mixed with canned food for breakfast each morning. In the evening, the dogs are fed a highly palatable “Gourmet Pet Deli Dog Food Rolls” which provide complex carbohydrates for energy, quality grains for high fiber, plus vitamins and minerals for healthy skin and coat. You may provide your own food, but this will not affect the price of boarding your pet.
Do you send pictures of our pets?
Yes! We offer a daily report card for $15 that includes several pictures of your pet while they are out for their extra playtime along with a demeanor report of how they have been doing. This is emailed and texted to you via Gingr (our online portal).
Is your kennel climate controlled?
Yes! We have renovated our old outdoor kennel to be completely enclosed with a brand new AC unit. All runs/lodging areas are completely climate controlled with both central heat and AC.
Do you have animal and/or breed restrictions?
No! We accept any pet and any breed of dog. This includes pets that have not been altered, aggressive pets, special need pets, senior pets, etc. We do not have any breed restrictions, meaning your adorable Pit babies are accepted here. For specific questions about how we can care for your pet, please contact us!
What are your vaccination requirements?
For all dogs, we require 3 vaccinations; this includes the Rabies, Distemper Parvo, and Bordetella. For cats, we require 2 vaccinations which includes the FVRCP and Rabies. We ask that all pets are updated at least 7 days before coming in for a service. We understand emergencies happen and that cannot always be the case. Please ask how we can help!
What form of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, card, apply pay, or checks ($500 or less). We do not accept Care Credit or Vet Care.
Can you give my pets medication while they are there?
Absolutely! We can give daily medications, vitamins, or monthly flea meds that are provided by the owners. There is a $3/day fee for medication administration and we can accommodate almost any schedule. We also administer insulin after their meals as needed for $5/day.
Do we need to bring food/water bowls or liter boxes?
No! We provide the food and water bowls for all dogs and cats, as well as litter and litter boxes for cats. If you are bringing exotic pets, then yes, you will need to bring anything we will need to ensure they are well taken care of. Please ask us about specific needs!
Can you board my exotic pet?
Yes! We can board rats, hamsters, ferrets, birds, or just about any pet that you have to be pampered. You will need to bring what we will need to ensure they are well taken care of. This includes but is not limited to: crates, bedding, food, snacks, water containers, etc. Please ask us about specific needs!
Are other dogs put out with my dogs while boarding/grooming?
No! We assume all dogs don’t like each other and will never be put out with another dog unless you specifically request it. We can put out dogs who are within the same household together, and we can board them together as well (if they get along). That is going to be up to you!
